Alcune tra le più celebri canzoni del repertorio jazzistico vengono reinterpretate e rivestite di un sound che mescola elettronica e timbriche di strumenti tradizionali. Difficile catalogare questo disco sotto un’etichetta di genere poiché le influenze stilistiche in esso presenti sono davvero molteplici. Tradizione ed attualità si incontrano e danno vita ad una rilettura che vuole essere un omaggio al passato filtrato attraverso le esperienze della musica più recente. Ad arricchire la registrazione quattro brani originali, dei quali uno strumentale, ironico tributo alle sigle dei serial TV polizieschi degli anni Settanta.

Some of the most famous songs from the jazz repertoire have been reinterpretated and clothed in a sound that blends electronics with the timbres of traditional instruments. It is not easy to pigeonhole this record, since the stylistic influences it contains really are countless. Tradition and current trends meet to bring to life a re-reading that seeks to be a homage to the past filtered through the experiences of more recent music. Enriching the recording are four original pieces, one of which is an instrumental that is intended as a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the theme tunes of TV cop shows from the Seventies.
